Marissa is a Bay Area native who recently moved to Oakdale, a small town in the Central Valley. She has worked in the hospitality industry for over ten years from working at fast-paced restaurants to planning and executing weddings and events. Growing up, she found herself coordinating parties and small events for family and friends - being intrigued with the aspects of creativity, design, and themes. Once she found her passion for coordination and making others’ dreams come to life, Marissa sought out the opportunity to learn and grow in this field by attending San Jose State University and graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, and Business Management. In her spare time, Marissa enjoys gardening, cooking, scrapbooking, and crafting ideas she finds on Pinterest.
Marissa feels that weddings and events are one of life’s most profound and memorable moments for the clients and their guests in attendance. She enjoys the simplest factors that contribute to the perfect event; the floor plans, event setup, floral designs, table decorations, and an orderly timeline creation. She loves collaborating with clients and their vendors to create their vision of the perfect event and finds each event that she has worked to be unique and creative in representing the personalities of the clients. Marissa believes that each event should consist of celebration, love, laughter, and unforgettable memories for all.
