Shalyn was raised in the small wine-country town of Healdsburg, CA. She has been heavily involved in the hospitality and wine industries for several years. She enhanced her skills for hosting and assistance from years of helping her family with winery events and overseeing several special events. Her professional calling to the event industry came in 2007 when she began work at a local popular wedding venue location.

With over 10 years in the industry and 100 wedding and event assisted installs to her credit, Shalyn is excited to be part of the So Eventful team. Together with her decade of experience, she brings strong organizational skills, a bubbly personality, and a can-do spirit. She especially enjoys special events with animals or children. She is up for any challenge and prides herself on leading with the customer's needs first at all times. When she isn't reading the current wedding blogs/magazines you can find her out exploring Sonoma County with her dog, Athena, or discovering new and delicious wines and craft beers while planning her own adventure.
